Thrustmaster T.Flight Full Kit X Detent Replacement With a Smooth, Ridge-free Version
.jpg)
If you own a Thrustmaster T.Flight Full Kit X and are bothered by the bump in the middle position of the throttle, this might be a simple solution for you. It works well for me, at least! The original part remains intact, so you can still revert it back to its original state if needed.
After this modification, the throttle moves smoothly across the entire range.
Supplies
I printed it using a Creality K1 with Creality Hyper filament, 0.1mm layer height, 75% infill, 300mm/s speed, and no supports!
In my case, no post-processing was needed.

In the photo, you can see the original detent with the bump (black), and the newly printed one, completely smooth (white).
All you need to do is: print the part, open the throttle section from the bottom by removing 8 screws, remove the retaining bracket (2 screws), remove the detent with the ridge, apply the grease from the housing onto the new detent, place the newly printed detent, and screw everything back together in reverse order. Done!
Not every 3D printer prints exactly the same, so make sure the newly printed part slides into place smoothly and can also be pushed back easily by the spring. If not, you can adjust the design slightly to make it narrower where needed.
