ThrowBag! Shotput & Discus Carrier

Throwing-implements.jpg

I have remade the carriers for shotput & discus because I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the ones my school would use for meets & honestly could be better but no disrespect to the coaches I'm still very grateful for it.

Supplies

You would need 8 pieces of wood that measure 10 inches in length with 8.5 inches in height. Along with another 8 pieces of wood that measure 2.5 inches in length with a height of 8.5 inches. For the bottom for the side pockets you need 4 pieces of wood that are 2.5 inches. Lastly for the bottom piece in the center you would need a floor that's 10 inches in length all around. All pieces of wood should only be half a inch thick. You would need 60 inches of rope (5 feet)

Piecing It Together

Your gonna have to either staple the wood together or drill them together in order for it to hold together and be able to hold everything up. You would staple at every corner where 2 separate pieces of wood connect.

Drilling

You just need to drill 2 small holes on opposite sides so the rope can fit through to make it possible to carry. The holes should be on the walls on each opposite side.

Tying the Knot

After making the holes you just put both ends through so they meet at the top and tie them together. To create the handle.

Setting the Base

Here if built correctly the bottom pieces should fit perfectly to just drill in or staple in so the bottom is connected to the main walls.

Place Discus & Shotput

After it's all built you should just place in the Discus or shotput inside and it should hold up just fine.
