Extreme Makeover: Mozilla Firefox Edition
***This instructable is obsolete and is here only for historical purposes. Be sure to take a look at my newer posts!***
Isn't it strange that Mozilla Firefox is the best web browsing software out there, but has one of the blandest looking interfaces?
It's time to fix that (unless you are already running a Mozilla Firefox theme)
This instructable will guide you through installing, and running Mozilla Firefox themes and extensions.
(Please don't post any comments about how unnecessary you might think this instructable is)

What You Already Have
The first thing that you want to do, is figure out what theme(s) you already have.
To do this,
1. Click on "Tools" at the top of this page
2. Then, go to "Add-ons", and click
3. A new window should pop up
This new window shows you what themes you already have installed.
In most cases, there will only be one theme called "Firefox (default)"
The next step will show you how to change that.
The image below shows the new window.

Download New Themes
To download a new Firefox theme, click on "Get Themes", at the bottom right of the new window.
This should open a new tab labelled:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:2
From here, click on a category of themes such as "Modern".
Then, click on a theme you like, and download it.
Note: you may need to update to a newer version of Firefox to fun some themes.

Running Themes
Once you have successfully downloaded a theme, it should appear in the "Add-ons" window.
To run this new theme, select it from the list, and click on "Use Theme".
Then, simply restart Firefox and your Firefox will be themed!
(If it isn't, you probably made some mistake earlier on)

Worthy Extras
Here are a few worthy add-ons for Firefox:
-Fasterfox
Features:
-Makes Firefox faster by tweaking settings
-Shows page load time on the bottom right.
Comments:
I don't know how I could live without this anymore...
Link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1269
-Tab Effect
Features:
-Cool animation between switching tabs
Comments:
Won't slow down your computer and looks really nice. Highly recommended, but note that there is no firefox 3 support (yet).

-Tab Preview
Features:
-Small thumbnail preview of tab on mouseover.
Comments:
This looks cool and doesn't slow down your computer at all. However, it isn't too useful, but I still recommend it.

After you've installed these, all you need to do to get them running is restart Firefox!
