The Yacht With Steam Engine
I like the feeling of taking a boat in the beautiful lake. I can make a cool yacht by myself, it will become a real one someday.
Sketch the Shape of the Yacht and Design the Steam Engine
To solve the problem of a flatboat flipping, I separated it into two narrowboats, a Catamaran is more stable.
I equipped it with a steam engine.
The rectangular steam chamber couldn't squirt enough steam to push the boat forward, so I tried to make a trapezoid shape and ensure it seals with the air-blow pipes.
Make the Body of the Boat With Fusion360
I used Fusion 360 to model it and 3d printed it.
3d Print and Painting and GO!!!
After printing the body of the boat, I colored it with Metallic paint and Put them together. The steam engine was made with the foil from the beer can.
Heated by the Candle， my yacht sails in my bathtub，puffing and swerving.
