The Ultimate Dog Gift Pack

Hey momoluvers, it's Momo and today I'll be showing you how to make a dog gift pack including bathing products, toys, treats, and more! This kit includes so many things that are all useful for anyone with a dog. I personally don't have a dog, but I'll be giving this to a friend. I hope you enjoy making this and using the items with your dog. Please vote for this tutorial in the dog contest!

This dry shampoo is great to use when you want your dog to smell better and be less greasy, and you also don't want to give them a bath.

Ingredients:

1. 1 tbsp baking soda

2. 1 tbsp corn starch

3. 10 drops essential oil of choice (I used lavender)

Whisk together all of the ingredients until there are no more clumps from the oil.

Gently pour the powder into a small jar for storage.

To use, simply shake a bit into your hand and rub all over your dog and deeply into the fur.

This shampoo is very good for dirty and thick dog coats. It doesn't smell great, but all of the ingredients are great for shine and getting rid of dirt.

Ingredients:

1. 1/4 tsp olive oil

2. 1 tbsp coconut oil

3. 1 tbsp body wash

4. 10 drops essential oil of choice (I'm using panaway)

5. 1 tsp white vinegar

Simply stir together all of the ingredients in a small bowl and scoop it into a shampoo container.

Shake well before use. Includes enough for one bath.

This is super easy to make, and is great to use if you want you dog to have a little refreshment.

Ingredients:

1. 3 tbsp water

2. 10 drops essential oil of choice (i'm using pan away)

Simply put the ingredients into a spray bottle and shake between each use.

Can be stored for up to 3 months. Perfect to use after shampoo.

These treats are not only tasty, but with mint and parsley, they make great breath mints! I had a lot of fun making these, like a little doggie pastry chef!

Ingredients:

1. 1/4 cup oats

2. 1 tbsp whipped egg

3. 1 tsp coconut oil

4. 1 tbsp chopped mint

5. 1 tbsp chopped parsley

6. 1 tsp water

7. 1 tsp flour

Preheat oven to 325*

Put oats into a food processor and pulse until powder consistency.

Whisk all of the other ingredients in a small bowl until well combined.

Add the oats and flour and continue whisking.

Knead the dough out on a powdered surface and flatten until thin.

Roll a small ball in your hand and flatten it on parchment paper.

Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove them from the oven and set out to cool.

They should be crispy and golden brown. Put into a little jar or container for storage. Can be stored for 1 month.

This collar is simplistic and easy. The string on the side implies that this is for use on smaller dogs who won't be as strong pulling it.

Supplies:

1. Fabric

2. Sewing machine

3. D ring

4. Twine (if you have larger dogs, use a thicker string)

5. Iron and board

6. Scissors

Cut out a piece of fabric that is 4 inches wide, and the circumference of your dog's neck long.

Fold it in half and iron it. Fold the edges in and iron it again so it is ironed in four equal parts.

Fold the outside pieces in and sew across both long edges.

Cut slits in each side for the string and insert it.

Fold the edge flaps over and sew so that the string will stay in place.

On the other side, put the D ring in along with the strong and sew over carefully.

Tie the strings together according to the size of your dog's neck.

This leash is also easy to make and is very similar to the collar.

Supplies:

1. Fabric

2. Sewing machine

3. Swivel hook

4. Iron and board

5. Scissors

Cut out a long strip that is 4 inches wide and however long you want it. Mine was about 2 feet.

Just like you did with the collar, sew along both edges, keep close to the edge and as straight as you can.

Fold a chunk over and sew along the edge.

Make a small tab and fold it over the swivel hook.

Sew along the edge several times.

Attach the swivel hook to the d ring on the collar.

This holder can hold a couple treats while you're going for a walk. This is more convenient than having to carry the treats in a separate bag, because you can just attach it to the leash.

Supplies:

1. Fabric

2. Sewing machine

3. Pen

4. Scissors

5. Jump ring

Cut out 2 small pieces of fabric that are about 2" x 3"

Put them face together and sew a 1/4" seam, but leave a small gap to reverse it. TIP: I like to trace a straight line along the edge just so that I get a clean seam

Put the pouch inside out and push out the corners best you can.

Sew over the hole.

Roll the edges over so that one slightly overlaps the other and sew the edges.

Put it inside out once again and hand sew a jump ring on the corner.

This can easily attach to the swivel hook on the leash and add treats.

This toy is a little throwie that will be so fun for your dogs to play with! It's very easy to make, but you have to follow the instructions precisely.

Supplies:

1. Fleece or felt strips

2. Scissors

Cut out four strips. Each one 1" wide and 15-20" long.

Take all four strips and knot the end tightly.

Separate all of the edges and begin the knotting.

Pull the top to bottom, right to left, bottom to top, then left to right. As you pull the last one over, take it through the loop of the first one you pulled. Refer to the drawing if needed.

Repeat, but at an angle.

Continue until you have about 2" of fabric left.

Knot the end tightly.
