The Trash Is Gone!

Attach conductive material to the trash can lid and trashcan itself so when the lid closes and opens, the two pieces of conductive material touch each other. I tried both foil tape and copper tape. Foil would also work.

Attach the green (home) alligator clip to one piece of the conductive tape or foil. Attach the other side of the green alligator clip to the Makey Makey home spot. Attach another alligator clip to the other piece of conductive tape and then to the RIGHT arrow button on the Makey Makey.

Once all of the Makey Makey is connected to the conductive tape, open Scratch and program it to speak when the right arrow is pressed.
