Greetings and welcome everyone,

One problem we face everyday, is something extremely simple, but hard to implement.

Yes, it is being organized, Today, I wanted to share with you all something that I have been using for the past couple of months, A very portable box to hold and display all your work/study table stuff in a very stupendous way.

I hope you'll love this project, Let's begin!!!

The supplies you will need are not very hard to get hold of.

you probably even have it lying around right now!

you will need:

1) Some cardboard with a nice finish.

2) Some glue to assemble our nice little project.

3) The stationeries we are going to use here and some A7 or A8 papers. (can be of your choice)

4) Blade/scissors.

5) some safety pins and usb (optional) for the last step.

And that's about it!

We just need some everyday objects to create something that will be sure to make a positive impact on how we work/study everyday.

Gather the Materials

First, you will begin by having all the materials ready.

Making the Cardboard Base

Measure out a rectangle cardboard measuring 42*10.5 centimeteres.

Now make sure to create a crease in the rectangle which will allow you to bend it freely using either your hand or something like a blade, you must make a crease every 10.5 centimetres and you will get 3 of them dividing the rectangle in 4 parts.

Making the Contents Above the Base

Every part here can either be 3d printed or be made in cardboard.

You will need to form a shape like this square measuring 9.5 cm on both sides and the height will be 2 centimetres, you can change the size according to what sort of sticky notes you have.

As you can see, there is a slope like thing which is enveloped by some cardboard peel ( the small paper like layer on both sides of the cardboard), The slope here will help you pick the sticky notes with ease and you'll not have to worry digging your hand into the paper pile evrytime.

Base Content No. 2

This part is our paper holder, A7 or A8 sheets, why this small you may ask, while this may not be for writing down notes, these sure help a lot in writing small bits of your work/study/conclusion as a study note or a memory note for later.

Make sure here that you align this part at the center of the 2nd base compartment square.

The measurement for this rectangle part is 9.5*6.5 centimetres for A7 sheets.

The height here is 3 centimetres.

If you have done the measurements and the math correct, you will get something like in the video.

Base Content No. 3

This part is a little different as you can see the upper space is where we keep some paper clips and the down part as you see is where you keep sticky notes.

The closure you see at the top is a rigid cardboard square piece which will complete the shape of the box at the end.

The shape at the front is the same as part 1, it measures 9.5 cm on both sides and the height will be 2 centimetres. The divider in between has the same height but you will have to make sure it fits right in between both sides. it will be around a millimeter less wide than the enclosure.

For the last part in the 3rd compartment you will have to stick a square to the end of the piece.

The square will measure 10 centimeter on all four sides.

Base Content No. 4

This will be our fourth and final compartment where we will be using it as a pen/pencil stand, it can hold upto more than 15 of them.

This is a 3d shape it is nearly a cuboid but it only doesn't have the top closure.

All parts measure 7cm in height.

The side rectangles measure 10cm

The front and back squares measure 6.5 cm in length.

You will have to follow the above instruction to cut out the above parts and stick them together with glue, you can see the attached images to get an even clearer idea of where all the pieces go.

The Cover

Any project would be incomplete without the cherry on top!

Well, at least in my books.

The cherry or The cherries as I like to call them are:

Using the safety pins in pic 1 to pierce them through the 3rd compartment and bending it in a way so that it makes room for our USB device like in the 2nd picture.

The next thing here is ensuring safety, I would recommend to smooth out the edge of the pin with something like a nail file.

and the next part, To preserve the look of our beloved box, we will add the cover as in the video to the 3rd compartment's wall so the the safety pin's other side is not shown.
