The Touchable Red Dot

"the red dot" sends fear down the spines of the most fearless felines ever known, but to humans, it's known as "the laser from the laser pointer" which is not frightening at all. most cats have fun playing with their owners with a laser pointer, but to some cats, they can really cause some agitation. unfortunately, my cat eve, is one of those cats. if i use the laser pointer on her, she spends the next two hours trying to find the vanished red dot and desperately trying to catch it. so, i devised a plan to make her feel better by letting her actually catch one.

get a 3D printer and print this file out.

when the print is done, get some red markers and paint the upper side red. it should look like this.

smoosh some clay at the inside of the dot, and attach two laser pointers with white lights. the light should face both sides.

it's done! it didn't really interest her, so maybe next time i'll make a more complicated system to make the cat catch the red dot with more fun.
