The Peg People (#30)
Grandma Van recently discovered that trying to publish a new book each week was not realistic. So she took a break.
Now she's back with a new kind of book:
It's a story book.
It's a coloring book.
It can be personalized.
Best of all: it might inspire your little ones to make their own "peg people" and create their own stories.
Print.
Print on both sides of the page, in landscape orientation, flipping on the short side.

Personalize Pages 12 and 16
Use the illustrations for steps 2-5 to add the names of three or four characters.
Personalize Page 6
Red is best for the adult character names.
Personalize Pages 3, 7, 10 and 14.
Instead of typing "he" or "she" I have left just the letter "e" on the page, so be sure to look for the pronouns!
Personalize Pages 4 and 8.
Names in blue and purple are for two children.
If you want to make the book for a single child, make these adaptations:
On page three, delete the word "and" in the second paragraph.
On page four, cross out the second paragraph.
On page fourteen, cross out the second name and the word "and."
Cut.
Stack and Fold.
Stack the pages in order. Fold.
Sew.
Enjoy the Book!
Color on the pages.
Add your own words and pictures.
(Optional) Purchase Wooden Pegs and Decorate Them.
Wooden pegs can be found at many craft stores.
Use markers, paints, fabric, and/ or "found objects."
HAVE FUN!
