The Hunger Games Book Holder

I made this when I was reading The Hunger Games (I was obsessed), it's the hand sign they use to show respect, goodbye, admiration, and unity.

I used green clay, then I painted it white and added touches of gold.

I started to make the skeleton of the hand using aluminium foil.

I covered it completely in clay and shaped the fingers to be the size of my own. This step took the longest.

The clay I used doesn't dry so I had to use glue to make it hard.

In order to be able to color it properly, I had to paint it white

Finally, I painted some of it with gold.
