The Giant Eye Pie
new way to eat things
Ingredients
300 gm. of Wheat flour
Teaspoonful of yeast
2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
A pinch of salt
½ cup of warm milk
Teaspoonful of sugar
The filling:
Cheese
Egg
Salt
Red pepper (optional).
Making the Dough
Add salt, yeast and sugar to the flour then add oil, mix them by hands until the oil disappeared, and then add warm milk and start kneading adding water gradually till the dough be coherent, at the end of kneading rub the bowl with a little bit of oil ,cover the dough with a plastic film, leave it in a warm place for 40 minute or until double in size.
Shaping and Filling the Dough
After Doubled in size, divide the dough into 4 balls, flatten each ball to make a circle or some like add the cheese, roll the two sides and close the ends to shape a boat, rub it with egg yolk mixed with a tablespoon of milk.
Baking
Bake the boats in a preheated oven on 250C for 10 minutes then bring it out adding an egg in each boat with some red pepper and continue baking until maturation.
