Flipper uses a universal cuff design to attach to a patient's hand and a wooden rod with putty to flip pages in order to eliminate the need for individuals to use their fingers and fine motor skills. This would assist individuals with limited hand function in completing daily tasks such as flipping pages of a book. . The simplicity and versatility of the device can make the task accessible.

Supplies

Split the Dowel in Half

This dowel can be purchased from Michael's however it is very long. If the dowel is long, a knife can be used to cut through and be broken to split in half. Use caution as needed.

Separate Putty From the Pack and Roll Into a Ball

The putty can also be purchased from Michael's. Separate about a quarter size of the putty from the pack and rolled into a ball
