The Easiest Mosquito Trap...(Under 1 Buck)
Hello Guyz And welcome to my first ever Instructable... Im using this in the pest control contest and i hope i win...
Well..How i first came up with this idea
We once lived in a village amongst.. Swarms Of Huge Flies...
Well i saw what attracted flies mostly ... It was Dark Color or a Uv Light
So..I made this simple and an easy project and well the next thing i knew we were living in PEACE !
Step 1 : Materials Needed for This Spectacular DIY !!
These Things can Be Found Nearly Anywhere !
1. A 2.5 liters plastic bottle
2. Dried Yeast ( Mostly it comes in the form of granules)
3. Boiled Water
4. Brown Sugar
Making the Structure
The Structure:-
Well, It looks like the same as picture one more or less... So Start by taking a bottle...Cut the part from where the bottle starts to straighten...As you can see in the picture the place is already marked...
After that you will be left with two pieces one with a cap and an other with the main body..
Place the piece with the cap upside down in the body .. As so that the Cap will be facing the bottom of the other piece....
Your STRUCTURE IS complete !!!
Attracting Flies !
Well, For this step is Easy I will Just tell you how to make the mixture
1.Pour the boiling water inside the structure (container) you made
2.Add 2 or 3 tbsps (your choice) brown sugar
3.Stir the Mixture
4. Add Yeast
5.Its not really necessary to stir
Now try to make the structure firm
Take a black towel or cloth and wrap it around the structure firmly as flies are attracted to dark colors !
Finished!
Well.. Its Finally Finished And ready
Place it in the corner of your house and after one or 2 days check the bottle !!
It will be filled with flies
You can see the steps in a more clarified view in the pic
As this is my contribution to the 'Pest Control' contest i hope you guyz vote for me !!
Please comment and tell me how can i make my instructables more precise and better
Till then bye bye !!! Meet you in another Instructable !
