Want a fun craft that helps your kid label colors in the real world? Well look no farther! This activity allows you to draw a crayon for your kid to put on corresponding colors. All you need is a pen, paper, and three minutes of your time!

Supplies

The only materials you need are a piece of paper and a pencil or pen!

Draw a Triangle With a Flat Tip

This triangle forms the tip of the crayon. The angles of the triangle are less than 90 degrees, and the bottom line should be straight.

Tip: Start your drawing towards the top of the page to allow for room.

Draw Two Parallel Lines From Each End of the Triangle

Make sure these parallel lines are straight, since they form the body of your crayon! A ruler tends to help:)

Make a Horizontal Line Connecting the Two Lines

Again, this bottom line should be as straight as possible! The outline of your crayon is now complete!

Add Another Horizontal Line Under the Base Triangle Line

Leave a little space between these lines, we will fill them in later... This step starts the process of drawing the label!

Draw Two More Lines Above the Base of the Crayon

These lines will show where your label ends. Be sure to leave space between the lines because we will fill them in later...

Tip: Try to keep the spacing the same as step 4

Fill in the Top and Bottom Label Lines With Black

You can color in the sections with your pencil! Be careful not to smudge your drawing! The outline of your crayons label is now complete!

Pick Your Color and Write (or Color) It In

Feel free to add the color you want and be sure to add a circle around your color name!

Enjoy your crayon!
