The Denver Omelette Grilled Cheese

Today We are going to make the most delicious grilled cheese you have ever had in your life, the Denver omelette grilled cheese.

Supplies

1 egg, 1/4 bell pepper, 1 slice of onion, salt, 1/3 cup grated cheese, 1 slice of ham, 2 pieces of bread, 2 pats of butter, one spoon-full of coconut oil, 1-2 skillets, kitchen knife, cutting board, spatula, lid for the skillet, stove, and a plate.

Chop Your Vegetables

First, roughly chop your onion and bell pepper.

Get Your Skillet Ready

Next, prepare your skillet by putting a spoon full of coconut oil into your pan at high heat and let it melt.

Put Your Vegetables in Your Pan

Next, put your onion and bell pepper into your pan and change the heat from high to medium-high. this will let them saute.

Prepare Your Egg

As the vegetables are sauteing, crack one egg into a bowl and scramble it until you can see little bubbles form on top of the eggs. Then add a pinch of salt.

Add in Your Eggs

Once the onions start to become translucent, add in your eggs and turn the temperature to medium. Cook your eggs to your preference.

Ham and Cheese

While the eggs are cooking, chop up your slice of ham and mix it with your cheese.

Butter That Bread

Next, butter one side of each slice of bread.

Eggs, Cheese, and Ham

Put your ham and cheese onto an unbuttered side of your bread. Now add your egg mixture on top of your ham and cheese mixture. Place the other piece of bread on top of your egg, ham, and cheese buttered side up.

Put It in the Pan!

Heat a different skillet on meduim-high heat and put your sandwich on your skillet buttered side down.

Let It Cook

Put your lid on top of your skillet and let the sandwich cook until you see bubbles on the edges of your bottom piece of bread.

Flip That Baby!

Flip your sandwich when ready using any method you like.

Finish It Up

Flip the sandwich as many times as you see fit until both sides are a nice brown and the cheese inside is melted.

Now plate the sandwich and cut it in half. Now consume your grilled cheese to your life's content and do the dishes if you feel like it.
