- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Making the Brownies
First you have to preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Now you have to make the brownie batter. Melt the butter and the chocolate together in a bowl for 2 minutes. Stir so that chocolate is completely melted. Then stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Lastly, add flour. Set the batter to the side so that you can make the cookie dough.
Making the Cookie Dough
For the cookies you first want to mix the butter, sugar and brown sugar in a stand mixer bowl, or a large bowl to hand mix. Mix in the egg, the vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Stir in flour, then stir in the chocolate chips.
Baking
Now that both batters ready, have a pan that is about a 10x10, make sure to spray the pan. To make the three layers, pour half of the brownie batter in the pan. Then take sections of the cookie dough, flatten them, and place them on top until the dough runs out. Pour the rest of the brownie batter on top. Put it in the oven for 30-40 minutes, once the cookie is done.
Let them cool, and enjoy!
