The Cheapest and Easiest Tablet / Book Holder ( Jugaad Technology )
Hi Everyone,
I'v seen and learnt a lot from this website, and saw the tablet holders when I wanted to hold my tablet up for reading / watching a movie.
I found them to be a little difficult as here in India, we dont have Radio Shack or major DIY Help . I really envy you guys as whenever I see a DIY project with the list of supplies, there are universal item codes written next to them.
We do find everything we need here, but in the scavenger hunt mode :) basically in "Jugaad" mode
Here's what I did.
Not the prettiest but the cheapest and the easiest (According to myself)

Items Needed
1. Tape / Cello Tape / Duct Tape about 2" wide (any tape on its final rounds would do )
2. Some tape of the same thickness hence the last spins of the above mentioned tape.
3. Two Pencils or an old radio antenna (not more than 10" long when opened )
4. Blade / Cutter

4. Blade / Cutter
Make the Cut as shown in the figure on either side of the tape.
Make another cut on the other side of the circle as shown in the figure.
Make them as deep as half inch , not more.

Stick a pencil of your choice of height to the end of the Tape like I did.
Make sure that it is stuck firmly otherwise $300 might fall straight on its back.
Stick two same length pencils (at a distance of .5" )for making a book/ document holder/reader .The gap is required in order to have the book standing straight with out slipping on a single pencil surface.
I used an old radio antenna for using with my previous tablet
Antenna are preferred as their lengths can be adjusted so changing the level of display is easier.

The final product is ready , made from the cheapest office materials, with the least effort and sadly(desperate looking).
But I tried it with my old Nexus 2012 Tablet and it was excellent in serving its purpose as demonstrated in the picture holding the heavyweight Lenovo Yoga.
Some of the pictures are from an old cardboard roll fitted with a taped up radio antenna
I'm sorry for mistakes as this is my first instructable.
God Bless.
