The Best Bread Pudding
Bread pudding is by far one of the best desserts ever! The best part is that you can use any kind of bread; sandwich bread, bagels, croissants. You can even use leftover pastries such as eclairs or crème puffs. Really whatever you have on hand! This dessert is not only simple, but incredibly delicious. It is great served warm or cold. You can even serve it with ice cream! In this instructable, I will be teaching you how to make The Best Bread Pudding, one of the most simple, scrumptious desserts.
You Will Need...
Ingredients:
- 6 cups of any kind of bread, in small pieces
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of mix-ins (My favorite is chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and almonds)
- Cooking spray
Supplies:
- Large bowl
- Wisk
- Spatula
- 8x8 glass pan
Make Your Batter
Pre-heat your oven to 350F and spray the pan with cooking spray. Mix together the bread, milk, sugar, and eggs. Then smash the mixture with the whisk until the bread is in smaller pieces and looks more like a batter. Next, fold in the mix-ins.
Bake and Serve
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 1 hour. Let cool for at least 10 minutes. Serve warm or chilled. Enjoy!
