The Basics: Design a Japanese Building

Now you can build your own Japanese building.

Instructions

  1. Starting with these three parts of a building, design your own Japanese building using the move, rotate, scale, and copy technique from the previous lessons.
  2. Continue to the next step.

Ungroup the Buildings

The building parts begin grouped together.

Instructions

  1. To add variety, make a copy of a group and ungroup it using the icon at the upper right menu as shown in the image.
  2. Continue to the next step.

Ungroup Buildings Part 2

You can copy and ungroup the buildings to use the shapes in those buildings.

  1. After ungrouping, the smaller details can be changed or removed as needed.
