A mask based off of a terror bird. Made in 2009. I lived in Toronto and had a membership to the Royal Ontario Museum. My favorite section to visit was the dinosaur exhibit. After some initial photos and internet research I came up with this design. The wings are roughly to scale of what they would have been on this prehistoric creature. To make it a bit more surrealistic I kept the head as a skeleton and had a human heart protruding from the top.

Materials:
- Skull, wings, tongue and heart carved out of Ethafoam
- Covered with Polar Fleece using 3M spray glue and airbrushed
- Hallowed eyes heat molded from sheet styrene

Enjoy.
