Teddy Bears in a Blanket Pastry
Welcome to my instructable on a delightful and cozy treat: the Teddy Bear in Blanket Pastry! As the weather cools down, there's nothing better than indulging in a warm and comforting treat. These pastries are almost too cute to eat, and is super easy to make.
Supplies
- Filo pastry (or puff pastry) - half pack
- Tiny teddies cookies - one pack
- Chocolate of you choice (dark chocolate works very well) - half block
- Butter - 20g
Cutting the Blankets
Preheat oven to 180C.
Cut eight sheets of filo into roughly 5cm by 12cm pieces.
Butter Up
Melt butter in mircowave.
Brush a generous layer of butter over the filo to ensure butter can reach each layer.
Add the Pillow and the Bear
Cut chocolate into smaller rectangular pieces.
Place a piece of chocolate and then a teddy on each filo.
Cover the Teddies
Fold the rest of the pastry over the teddy to create the blanket.
Brush another layer of butter.
Bake
Bake at 180C for around 15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Now you have the cutest treat to keep you warm and cozy, just like the little sleeping bears! Enjoy these on their own or with a warm cup of tea.
