Tea-lightful Wish Lamp

Create a charming lamp for a shelf, table top or curio cabinet; for your favorite holiday(s)- you might even use it for good luck🌟

Supplies

⚫ Mason Jar *but any glass jar will work

⚫ Tea Light *use LED / battery tea lights if using a lamp shade

⚫ Miscellaneous gems, beads, trinkets, "good luck charms" (aventurine, pyrite, four-leaf clovers, organic rice, beans, mustard seeds)

⚫ Optional/Various Ribbons, beads, jewels or paint for decorating

Lamp Shade:

⚫ Paper *your choice; Vellum, Glitter, Construction; *Your choice of color(s)

⚫ Optional/Various Ribbons, beads, gems/ jewels for decorating

⚫ Lamp shade cutout / stencil for shape

⚫ Glue, tape, scissors (other/misc tools you might need, i.e. cotton swabs, tooth picks, paint brush)

Optional: Slip of paper -*write down a wish, fold it up & drop it in

Your Jar Design

Decorate or design your jar as desired ~ Plain and clear is perfectly fine, as your trinkets and tea light Will Sparkle; Add a Lamp Shade, and 'Viola! Pure "Magic"..you'll see!
Painting is an option -as pictured
Use paint brushes, sponges or your favorite technique; *acrylic paint will work - let dry completely (in stages if additional coats are necessary or desired) to adhere to the glass; Or you may prefer special glass paint
⚫ Fill it with your trinkets, good luck charms / symbols (some examples/suggestions are listed above)
⚫ Fill it or decorate it with holiday baubles and/or candy
⚫ Don't forget your wish✨

The Shade

Freehand the shade stencil or you can find one online; print it out & trace it onto your choice of paper; your choice of color

⚫ Vellum
⚫ Glitter paper
⚫ Construction paper

⚫ Fabric
Decorate as desired (with suggested materials, as listed above/shown)

🔶 Holding it like an upside-down rainbow -small round notch ON TOP-
🔶 Pinch the two corners and bring together, forming a cone or "funnel" shape
🔶 the two straight sides meet; Tape or Glue them to seal
