Tea Bag Wreath

Here is a pretty and functional wreath you can make for yourself or a friend.

This is a quick, no-sew project.

Cardboard

Fabric or old cotton shirt 18" square

scissors

Hot glue gun & glue sticks

12" of 1/2" wide ribbon

32 Wooden clothespins

black marker or acrylic paint

32 individually wrapped tea bags

Cut 2 circles of cardboard (14")

Cut 8" circles out of the center of each one.

Using your glue gun, cover one of the cardboard rings with fabric.

Fold the ribbon in half and glue it to the back of the fabric covered cardboard.

Glue the other cardboard ring to the back of the fabric covered one.

You can either paint the clothespins or decorate with a marker or leave them plain.

Using the hot glue gun, glue the wooden clothespins around the wreath onto the fabric.

Make sure you glue them with the pinch side toward the outside of the wreath.

In order for the clothespins to be evenly spaced around the wreath, start by gluing them at 12:00 & 6:00, like it is a clock face. Then glue 2 more at 9:00 and 3:00.

Now you can glue clothespins in between those. You will have 8 clothespins up now.

Glue 8 more in between those. That will make 16 clothespins.

Now glue 16 more clothespins in between the 16 that are glued on the wreath.

Now you've got 32 wooden clothespins on your wreath!

Place the individually wrapped tea bags in the clothespins.

Hang on a small nail or cup hook.

This would make a nice gift to take to a Holiday party.
