Supplies used to make this Lamp.(Check out the assembly image attached)

  1. Thick Rope: 5–6 mm diameter
  2. Thin Rope: 1–2 mm diameter
  3. Quick Adhesive Glue
  4. Bulb: 2–10W filament-type (yellow or white, LED recommended)
  5. Bulb Holder: Compatible with selected bulb
  6. Electric Wires: 2–3 meters, as needed
  7. 2-Pin Plug
  8. Medium Bowl: Approx. 180 mm diameter (for shaping)
  9. Small Bowl: Approx. 280 mm diameter (for shaping)
  10. Scissors or Paper Cutter: For cutting rope
  11. Plastic Bottle: Approx. 3-inch diameter (for base)

Making Spirals With 8 Loop

Supplies: Thick rope, glue, medium bowl

  1. Place the medium bowl upside down.
  2. Using the thick rope, create 8 spiral loops around the bowl’s base, gluing each loop to secure.
  3. Apply additional glue between spiral arms for strength, forming a sturdy spiral disc.
  4. Repeat to make 6 identical spiral discs.


Top Spiral Ring

Supplies: thick rope and big bowl


  1. use base of big bowl , use rope to stack rope around bowl and connect with glue .
  2. Now you have single close rope loop.
  3. use adhesive to glue.
  4. Continue to make vertical stack till 6 number of rope count.
  5. now you have cylinder wall of rope loop.

Supplies: 6 spiral discs, medium bowl, top spiral ring

  1. Place the medium bowl upside down.
  2. Position the top spiral ring around the bowl’s base, ensuring it touches the ground.
  3. Take 5 spiral discs and glue them around the top of the spiral ring, following the bowl’s curve (refer to reference images for placement).
  4. Place the 6th disc on top, gluing it to the other 5 discs for stability.
  5. Apply a second layer of glue to reinforce connections and allow drying time.


Making Small Spiral.

Supplies: Thick rope, glue, small bowl

  1. Using the small bowl, create 1 spiral with 8 turns, gluing to secure.
  2. Make 5 additional spirals, each with 4.5 turns, gluing each to the bowl’s surface.


Making Small Spiral Ring

Supplies: Thick rope, glue, small bowl

  1. Use the small bowl’s base to form a single loop of thick rope, gluing it in place.
  2. Stack 5 loops vertically, gluing each to create a cylindrical wall.


Bottom Spiral Assembly.

Supplies: 5 small spirals, 1 large spiral, small spiral ring, small bowl

  1. Place the small bowl upside down.
  2. Position the small spiral ring around the bowl, ensuring it touches the ground.
  3. Glue the 5 small spirals around the top of the spiral ring, following the bowl’s slope.
  4. Place the large spiral on top of the bowl, ensuring it connects with all 5 small spirals.
  5. Glue all components together and allow time for the adhesive to set.

Supplies: thick rope ,glue, plastic bottle


  1. take plastic bottle(approx. diameter 3 inches).
  2. Use thickrope and wound around it.
  3. use glue to stick 1st loop and continue to wound and glue.
  4. I use 16 loop around bottle to make base of lamp.
  5. You will use more or less loop as per your convenience.(16 recommended for bulb holder placement as well)
  6. connect this on bottom of central spiral of bottom assembly.

Supplies: Thick rope, glue

  1. Form a cylinder with thick rope to match the bulb holder’s diameter (e.g., 1.25 inches).
  2. Use 9 loops of rope, gluing each to create a sturdy holder placement.
  3. Attach this inside the bottom spiral assembly.

  1. Use the medium bowl’s base to form a ring with 3 vertical loops of thick rope, gluing each to secure.

Supplies: Thick rope, glue

  1. Cut 40 pieces of thick rope, each 100 mm long.
  2. Group into sets of 4 to create 10 columns, gluing each set together like jumper wires.
  3. Evenly space and glue the 10 columns inside the bottom spiral assembly.
  4. Wrap thin rope around the columns’ periphery (6 loops), gluing to secure.
  5. Attach the open ends of the columns to the center mesh ring using glue, completing the center structure.

Supplies: Electric wires, bulb holder, 2-pin plug, bulb

  1. Pass electric wires through the bottom spiral assembly (use the inner space for wiring).
  2. Connect wires to the bulb holder and secure the holder inside the holder placement.
  3. Attach the other end of the wires to the 2-pin plug.
  4. Insert the bulb into the holder and close the lamp’s top assembly.
  5. Plug into an electric socket, turn on the switch, and enjoy the beautiful patterns cast by your handcrafted rope lamp!
