Table With Tiny House Stray Cats

This project has been realized during the Erasmus+ in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the project consists in making a small garden table containing a small house for stray cats.

Supplies

The materials we need for this project are:

  • Recycling pallet
  • A large piece of wood
  • Softwood for 6mm laser cutter
  • M3 screews, washers and nuts
  • Wood painting
  • Plastic drum

Choose the Pale

In this first part, we are going to choose a pallet that fits the measurements we want.

Cut the Legs

Then we will cut the legs and paint of the table.

Cut the Plasctic Drum

The plastic drum should be washed before cutting.

Cut the Box

We will make a wooden box that we will cut with the laser cutter to protect the drum from the weather.

Join the Legs and the Table

Now, we will attach the legs to the table, we will also sand the table top so that it is without any holes.

We will attach the cat box with the plastic drum to the table.

Extra: Arduino Cat Detector

To this project we will be able to add a detector to detect whether there are cats inside or not.
