This year’s Halloween Costume came about when I was reading an article that when Queen Elizabeth passed away, the “ROYAL BEE KEEPER” had to visit the 7 Royal beehives. He had to knock on the Royal beehives, one by one, and inform the bees, in a soft and somber voice, that their master had died and that they have a new Master who will be good to them, so they should NOT leave the hives.
This is one of the most unusual tradition and job that I’ve ever heard of.
This Halloween costume is my tribute to the Queen of England.

The article published on: ABC.net.au
“Queen Elizabeth II's bees informed of her death, as part of a long-standing beekeeping tradition.”
By Melissa Maykin

“Palace beekeeper, John Chapple, told Mail Online he travelled to Clarence House and Buckingham Palace on Friday to tell the seven bee hives.

"I'm at the hives now and it is traditional when someone dies that you go to the hives and say a little prayer and put a black ribbon on the hive," the 79-year-old said.

"I drape the hives with black ribbon with a bow."

Mr Chapple said he delivered the same message at both locations, in hushed tones.

"You knock on each hive and say, 'The mistress is dead, but don't you go. Your master will be a good master to you," he said.”

PS. The honey was collected for the Royal House. Any extra was given to different

Every beekeeper has his pot to carry the honey. Let’s make a honey-pot.
1. Use a plastic pot for this project
2. Get a 50 ft. Roll of 3/8” hemp rope.
3. Use the hot-melt glue to fasten the
rope to the outside of the plastic pot.
4. Start at the bottom of the pot by
drilling a 3/8” hole and feeding the
rope into the hole.
5. Tie a knot inside the pot and glue in
place.
6. Start gluing the rope on the outside of
the pot in a spiral movement up the
side of the pot. Use the hot melt
glue as the adhesive.
7. Take a piece of rope and make a four
inch circle ⭕️. Glue the ends
together.
8. Using black paint, fill in a 4” circle on
the side of the pot.
9. After the paint dries, glue the circle
over the black circle.
10. Place and glue several bees on the
outside of the beehive.
11. Use yellow paint to create honey
spots on the dried up hot-melt glue
drips.
12. Glue black ribbon onto the metal
handle.
The HONEY-POT is now complete.

Not everything we build or create has to be expensive.
The reason for creating should be for personal gratification.
It gives me great satisfaction to create and share with all of you.

Enjoy Halloween 🎃 👻 💀
