TH-10_Animation

TH-10's created purpose was to be a technician’s helper, lifting and loading heavy machinery. The creator needed an extra hand around the loading docks. A weary spice smuggler with a knack for building, weighed down by the years of solo flying, decided it was time for change. Years after the droid's birth, TH-10 realized he craved adventure outside of being a technician’s helper. He crafted his own jet propulsion pack, lodging it in his main housing unit, said goodbye to his creator, and left his home to peruse a life among the stars.

Texturing and lighting is not my forte, so character animation is where my skills sit. I tried to push myself to create a rig unlike any rig I have made before, and more than just a normal biped rig. The results were a little shotty, but I learned a lot that I can apply to attempts in the future.

I wanted to create a droid that I felt could stand alone in its own little universe. A droid longing for adventure rather than systems or programming is a foe a lot of people face. Creating a droid equipped with his own jetpack and ambition is where I and others find ourselves, one jump away from adventure.
