TDA2030A STEREO AMPLIFIER

We continue with the sequence of amplifiers but this time we will use a 30W amplifier, that is, we will use 2 TDA2030 amplifiers for each channel, both for L and R.

The TDA2030 is a monolithic integrated circuit, intended to be used as a low frequency AB amplifier. Typically provides 14 W of output power at 14V / 4Ω; at ±14V or 28V, the guaranteed output power is 12W into a 4Ω load and 8W into an 8Ω load. The TDA2030 provides high output current and has very low harmonic distortion. In addition, the device incorporates an original (and patented) short-circuit protection system comprising a provision to automatically limit power dissipation in order to keep the duty point of the output transistors within their safe operating area. A conventional thermal shutdown system is also included.
