Introduction:

Have you ever wanted to game and talk to someone but, no ones online? Or have you ever wanted to make new friends but you're too shy? Well, look no further! The T.B.G. Bot (Talking Buddy Gamer Bot) is an android that lets you talk to others or you can have a conversation with it! Plus, you can also play games on it! But, for now this is a prototype that you can build at home with a few materials found around the house!

Supplies

You will need:

  • A cardboard box
  • Scissors/Box Cutter
  • Paper (Optional)
  • Paint (Optional)
  • Tape
  • A tablet or phone with Siri, Google, Alexa, ect.
  • Ruler or Measuring Tape
  • Marker (Black is recommended depending on box color)

Step 1: Base

First, with your ruler, measure your tablet/phone so it'll fit in the hole. Make a mini stand and place it in the box. This will help the electronic stand up. Make sure it is in a case to prevent fire hazards. Also make a way to take out the electronic if you still use it in your daily life. After you get the shaped hole marked, cut out the hole with a tiny bit more room in the hole for the phone to be taken out of. Tape the case to the top and bottom of your box. Also trace out button shapes on the front so you can have pretend buttons (Optional). Then, with your paper, make some eyes, a mouth, and any other details you want. Paint these and the buttons so you can have it more colorful. :)

Step 2: Decorating

Although there aren't many steps, you could just call this little project done. But, if you like going the extra mile, try decorating! Glue or tape paper to all the other sides. Take some art supplies and draw on the paper. Then, just let it sit and dry! Then all your sides will be colorful! :)

Step 3: Charging

So we all need our devices charged to work. Right? So, what I recommend doing is cutting a mini door way in the back to take your electronic out to charge. Charging devices makes them heat up and if it is on a flammable surface like the cardboard, it can start a fire.

Last Step: Posting

If you like sharing with the world, share this! Just, one thing. Make sure to blur out personal information on the box and it's label. Just like I did! Posting personal information does not end well one bit. I think we all know that. So, please if you decide to post, blur out any form of information revolving around address, name, ect. :)
