Swing Ride
A spinning swing ride that goes up and down
Supplies
No materials were used other than an iPad with Tinkercad if you want to print all you need is a printer, filament, rope/string, and 2 motors of any kind as one can go up and one can spin.
Grab a cylinder and change its height to 3 and its side lengths to 93 for both
Place another cylinder in the center of the original make the new cylinder’s dimensions 28 tall and 20 for both side lengths then duplicate the new cylinder rase it up 6 units change the side lengths to 19.50 then make it a hole and combine it with the cylinder it was copied from
take a cylinder connector and a axle connector and put them in the center of the partially hollowed out cylinder and connect the axle connector to the bottom cylinder with blue and set it to continuous with no speed and a max speed of 80 go to controls and set the “m” key to “change speed by 400 on press”
take the partially hollowed out cylinder and undo the union and duplicate the hole and make it an object take the hole and rehollow the cylinder from before then take the cylinder connector and connect the 2 cylinders making the top cylinder the blue node set the cylinder connector to continuous with a lower limit of -20 and an upper limit of 50 set the speed to “0” and the max speed to “3” go to controls have the “s” key set speed to -200 on press
On top of the upper cylinder take a half sphere with a hight of 10 and side lengths of 59 make sure it’s centered and make the upper cylinder and the half sphere a union
make some sort of seat the shape doesn’t matter its dimensions just have to be 5 tall and 7.07 sides when turned -45 degrees put a pivot connector towards the center of the seat then raise the connector to the top of the union at the top of the design then take the seat and pivot connector duplicate them and move the new ones to the other side of the central pillar and try to keep them parallel
Then take the two sets of seats and pivot connector and duplicate them rotate 25 degrees and then press duplicate until you have a full circle and now you’re finished but first double check all the connectors and make sure everything is hooked up
