Follow these steps!

For the seat you need the small plank with Ø 0,8 cm.

Use the jigsaw to saw a circle. I made a circle with Ø 35 cm.

I'ts not always easy to make the circle round so here's a tip. Take another plank and add two bars on it. As you can see on the picture, you can set your jigsaw there. Screw the plank in the middle of the circle. The distance between your jigsaw and the screw has to be the radius of your circle. Now al you have to do is saw.

In the middle you need a hole. You can make this hole with the holesaw.

If you want to make you seat look nicer and less sharp you can use the plunge router.

The ribs are made off a plank with Ø 2,4 cm.

On the pictures you can find the sizes. You need two of these.

Again I used the jigsaw to saw these ribs. You need a steady hand and patience to have a good result.

This time I used the plunge rounder on the places where the robe wil lay.

To attach the ribs at each other I made a gap in both ribs. This way I could slide them in each other. To make the connection stronger I used construction glue.

Use sand paper to make them smoother.

I used four screws to attach the ribs at the seat.

First drill a hole before you screw. This way you can avoid that the wood will devide.

Make sure you drill all holes circa the same length from the centre of you cirlcle.

After screwing there will be little holes in you seat. Fill them with plastic wood.

Use sand paper to make your seat smooth.

If you want to protect your swing against rain and dirt you can varnish it.

Now you can do your thing and swing!
