Sweet Peanut Butter Plantain Sandwich

​Are you tired of eating the same old sandwich each day? Then maybe you should try this new tasty sandwich! It has flavor, crunch, and is easy to make! You can eat it open faced or closed. It is simple to make and is best served with a glass of milk. You can make a version for people with nut allergies as well! It is also a healthy and delicious lunch for any occasion. In this instructable, I will show you how to make your own.

Supplies

​Ingredients:

Chunky or Smooth Peanut Butter (can be substituted for Sun butter)

Plantain Chips

Bananas

Whole Wheat Bread

Honey

Toasting the Sandwich

First take the two slices of bread and toast them for 1-2 minutes. Make sure not to toast too long, or when the peanut butter is spread, it will melt all over. Feel free to choose any kind of nut-like spread if you have allergies to peanuts.

Then, once they are done, spread peanut butter evenly on both slices. Do a thin layer, and then another. Make sure to be careful or it could get messy!

Then cut slices of banana and lay them on the sandwich. Then do the same with the plantain chips. Make sure to do it evenly. You can add more chips or less bananas too! You can change your sandwich depending on if you like it crunchy or chewy.

After you have done this, lightly drizzle honey over it and fold together. Again, be careful. Serve fresh, and you have a delicious meal! You can make this for lunch or pack for a picnic. Any time, this is a amazing sandwich!
