Sweet Corn Kosambri(Green and Healthy)
It's Good To Know :
Kosambri is basically a simple salad.It is a South Indian Dish,which is made on every occasions and events!!
Let's juice up this simple salad to make it and tailor it in our own way to spice it up and make it a perfect "IMMUNE" food.
Kosambri salad is usually made with lentils(moong dal) witch is our main hero !!!! It is the most easiest and quickest dish to hunt your tummy....
The tangy flavour of this dish will surely treat your taste buds! So let's get started and will surely keep the Inscrutable simple and clear.
Gathering Ingredients
- 1 cup Moong dal.
- Chopped Cucumber.
- 1 cup Pomegranate.
- 1 cup peeled Sweet Corn(Remember to boil the corn in prior).
- 1 cup grated carrot.
- 1 cup grated Coconut.
- 2 teaspoon Lemon Juice.
For Tempering
- 4 Green Chilies
- Curry Leaves
- 1 teaspoon mustard seed
- Salt
- Coriander Leaves
Rock and Roll
Start by rinsing the Moong Dal(lentil) in water for few times , then soak the Moong Dal(Lentil) for 10 to 20 minutes.Later drain the water and store it in a bowl.
Step 2:
This is the fun part of the recipe start to mix the finely chopped cucumber , grated carrot , pomegranate , sweet corn , moong dal , grated coconut , chilies(of course don't add more and host a chilly eating competition) , curry leaves , mustard seed , lemon juice , salt to taste and coriander leaves to garnish.
NOTE : You can randomly mix the ingredients but just make sure you mix it well !!!
