Sweet Corn Curry With Triangle Paratha

I made sweet corn curry with paratha recipe. Its a health and tasty food which liked by all age group.

ingredients for corn curry:

1 tbsp oil

1 bay leaf

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 onion chopped

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

2 tomatoes chopped

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp coriander powder

salt as per taste

1 tbsp cashews

1 tsp watermelon seeds

1 cup sweet corn boiled

1 cup water

1/4 tsp garam masala

2tbsp coriander finely chopped


ingredients for paratha:

2 cup wheat flour

2 tbsp oil

salt

water

Dough Making

in a large bowl, take wheat flour, salt and oil. knead flour with as much water as it required to make a soft dough. remember to water add little by little and keep stirring the flour with your hands.

Gravy

firstly, heat 1 tbsp oil in Kadai and saute 1 bay leaf and cumin seeds till they turn aromatic. now add onion, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes away.

now take add things in dish and let it cool.

Take mixture grinder, add all materials as per above and cashews and watermelon seeds and make it texture as smooth gravy.

Heat oil in kadai and add onion tomato gravy which we created in first step. add other all spices (turmeric red chilli, coriender powder and garam masala), and salt. saute on low flame till spices gets cooked completely.

further add 1 cup boiled sweet corn and water. stir and mix well adjusting consistency as required. cover and simmer for till corn and masala are cooked completely.

Paratha Rolling

Now lets make a paratha. after resting dough make even sized balls out of the dough. with rolling pin, roll out each ball into a nice round roti. then apply some oil and fold the roti into half and semi circle, apply oil and fold to get a triangular shape. dip the triangle into the dry flour and start rolling again. now roll out and trying to make triangle larger.

Paratha on Skillet

Heat a skillet and pop the paratha on it for about 30 seconds, then flip it over. apply oil on topside and turn it over. same way do this for other side. the parathas should have brown dots by pressing both sides. parathas are ready to serve.
