Swan Origami (Traditional Model)
The method shown in this tutorial is based on ancient traditional Japanese folding technique. You could make a swan using this 10 easy steps.
Supplies
- A origami paper OR a square paper piece
Take a Square Paper
Get a piece of square paper of any colour of your choice.
Fold It Diagonally, So That It Looks Like Triangle. And, Then Unfold It.
Fold it diagonally, so that it looks like triangle. Then unfold the paper. So that it makes a crease diagonally.
Fold the Both Edges Near to the Crease in the Middle.
Fold both edges along the crease in the centre.
Flip the Paper Over.
Fold the Both Sides Towards the Crease in the Center.
Fold the Both Sides Towards the Crease in the Center.
Fold the The Base of the Paper to the Uppermost Tip of the Paper.
Fold the the base of the paper to the uppermost tip of the paper, Such that the tip in the base meets the uppermost tip of the paper.
Fold the The Tip of the Thinner Portion, to Form the Neck of the Swan.
Fold the The Tip of the Thinner Portion, to Form the Neck of the Swan.
Fold the Paper Sideways
Fold the paper sideways through the crease which we made early.
Lift the The Neck Portion by Holding the Base.
Lift the the neck portion by holding the base. And, also lift the head portion slightly.
Finished Project.
And, that's pretty much it. We have successfully made the Swan origami using the traditional folding method.
