What could be better to tell you the time than an alien eating at a revolving sushi bar? If there is something, I don't know what it is. This quirky gift will keep everyone entertained.

Here Are the Materials You Need

2 paper plates
1 piece of wood
1 motor with battery pack (it doesn’t have to be the same as the one in the picture)
1 hollow vinyl flex wire
1 finger light (optional)
2 AA batteries
2 syringes without needles
1 small clock that you can take apart
1 stuffed alien (optional)
A quirky sense of humor

Make Your Circle

Cut the plate into a four inch circle and decorate it however you would like. After that, poke a small hole in the middle.

Put on Your Disc

Take the disc made from the paper plate and attach it to the motor. Again, it may depend on what kind of motor you have, but as long as the disc spins, it will be fine. If your motor is the same as the one in the picture, apply hot glue to the hole in the disc to secure it to the spinning part of the motor.

Add Decorations

After you finish, you may want to add a stuffed animal, a table, or some sushi. This is optional (you can put a sign or any other object on the disc).

Attaching the Syringe

Take one syringe and push the end all the way in. Fill the other with water and pull it out. You will also need to fill the wire with water. Push the end the of each syringe into the ends of the wire. After, glue one of the syringes to the battery pack or switch that turns on the motor (if you only have a battery pack, then lift one of the batteries slightly to stop the motor and push it back in to start the motor again). When you push the end of the syringe in, the end of the other syringe should come out. Glue the other syringe facing upwards onto the wood using cardboard or anything else.

Assemble the Clock

Take the clock apart and place a sushi background inside. If you are unable to take the clock part, then put sushi related pictures on the out side.

Glue the Clock On

Take your new sushi clock and glue it to the end of the syringe. The clock should now elevate when you push in the syringe.
