Superman Key-ring (pyrotechnic Style)

Everyone wants to be superman, but most people don't have time for it. So I've come up with the superman key-ring. Next time you feel like saving the world, just whip out this bad boy and all your doors will open, who needs x-ray vision when you have a key to the door?
All you need is a pyrography kit and a circular disk of wood!
Step 1: Drawing Your Design

I chose to do a superman design but you can pick what you want.
Firstly sketch out your design, I used a colored pencil as it is easier to work with later.
Start out with your border and work inwards this means that you will get a better shape.
Step 2: Choosing Your Scriber

I chose to use a long rounded end scriber as I am using this to do the main edges.
You may wish to use any other but personally i think this is the best.
Step 3: Starting the Outline

Start by doing the outline, be careful to do this area as this will be on the outside.
I also rubbed out the shading.
Step 4: Switching the Scriber

I changed the scriber to a thicker one, to do this i unscrewed the other using pliers and screwed the other on.
By using pliers, it ensured I didn't have to wait for everything to cool down.
Step 5:Filling in the Gaps

I used the larger tip to finish the inside, this took a wile as my wood was very difficult to burn and it didn't give the best effect.
Step 6: Finishing Off

To finish i used a scriber to burn my way through to create the hole used for the key-ring.
I also varnished the wood to make it water proof and durable.
Now I can be super man everywhere!!!!!
