Super Tall Stovepipe Hat With a Storage Compartment

Today we will be making a super tall stovepipe hat with a storage compartment!
Supplies
- Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
- LOTS of cardboard
- Duct Tape
- Xacto knife
- Scissors
- Sharpie
- Stapler
- Tooth pick (not shown)
Step 1 :Cutting

Use scissors to cut out the rectangular shape of the stovepipe hat so we can later fold it into a cylinder.
Step 2: Fold and Seal

use your knees to fold the cardboard into a cylinder. Next use the stapler to staple both ends of the cylinder so it is easier to tape. Now use the Duct Tape to tape across the cylinder.
Step 3: Tracing and Cutting

Use the Sharpie to trace a circle. Then draw a bigger circle around the one you just traced. Then use the Xacto knife to cut out the circle. Then cut out the inner circle
Step 4: Gluing the Brim on

First fit the inner circle of the brim on to the cylinder. then use the hot glue gun to glue the brim on.
Step 5: the Storage Compartment

cut out a circle slightly smaller than the cylinder of the hat. Then put the circle into the cylinder.
Step 6: You Are Done!

Sadly it seems we are done, but you can take this project further. You could spray paint it or decorate it however you want to! please heart this project if you liked and enjoyed making it.
