Super Slime

This is a recipe for an alternate type of slime that uses baking powder and saline solution instead of borax. The change in ingredients gives this slime a unique texture that is very, well, slimy. It's very quick and fun to make, and only requires a few ingredients.

• 1/2 tsp Baking Soda

• 2 tsp Saline Solution (saline should contain sodium borate and boric acid)

• Food color/Acrylic Paint

Add water and stir thoroughly.

Add baking powder. Make sure to stir it up very well or else you will get pockets of dry baking powder. The baking powder helps with the consistency of the slime, and makes it a bit more pliable and less watery.

Add saline solution. For a more thick slime add more saline, but start with less just in case.

Finally add your food coloring/acrylic paint. I tried both, and personally I prefer acrylic paint. I wasn't sure if the paint would incorporate into the slime, but it worked wonderfully and didn't stain my hands.

That's it- Enjoy! Keep it in an airtight container and it should last several days.
