Super Simple Fancy Hair
This super easy fun hairstyle makes you look classy in a full five minutes and is easy to adjust in style by wearing a different ribbon/headband, like a scarf or a fake braid.
It improved my life a lot, I hope it can do the same thing for you.
Supplies
- ribbon/headband that does not stretch
- bobby pins
Step 1: Tie Your Ribbon
I part the front of my hair to the side, but you part it however you like.
Use a ribbon that does not stretch and tie it around your head, like in the picture. You do not have to calculate any slack into it.
The ribbon I used for these pictures was picked based on the contrast with my hair color, normally I would use something that is black in the back, that way it will not show even if your hairdo shifts a bit.
Step 2: Twist and Tuck
Now take the first lock of hair, hold it in the direction of the ribbon, give it a little twist and put it behind the headband. Continue with the next lock, working your way from the front to the back.
I have very straight hair and was having some trouble with keeping it in place, if your hair is similar you might want to use bobby pins in this step already.
Step 3 Tuck and Pin
When you have tucked in all strands, you will be left with some hair at the back.
We are going to tuck those in and keep them in place with bobby pins.
As you can see in the picture, my front locks are a bit on the loose side. Next time I will use bobby pins sooner. And even if you wish to re do it, you will still be finished in no time.
Enjoy your new look.
