Super Easy and Stylish Coffee Table Designs Fusion 360

Are you looking for the ultimate coffee table for you living room, i was too and after browsing a lot through furniture stores and online shopping sites, i was not convinced by any of the available designs. they all were so simple and common designs. some of the design were good but they were hell expensive and way out of my budget so i thought why not design my own coffee table which looks good, is stylish and not expensive. i did a lot of research and came up with some designs which I'll be sharing with you.

These are some of the most common designs of tables i was able to find in the market, they are bland and lacking the wow factor.

Common shapes like square and rectangles are used, everyone have these tables in their homes, nothing new or innovative.

Market Research 2: Some Stylish Designs

I did like some of the designs, they were just perfect, they had the wow factor they looked stylish, modern and even futuristic but again they are too expensive and way beyond the budget of many people.
These come in all kind of shapes from circles and ellipses to hexagon and even irregular shapes.

Now it was time to take inspirations from all these designs and come up with something futuristic. i wanted to design something that catches the eye of whosoever looks at it. i wanted to design a masterpiece!

first step was the shape of the table top, to be clear i wanted to avoid squares and rectangles for sure. i was fine with using circular and ellipses but i was definitely gonna experiment with other shapes too, afterall to get to the perfect design one needs to try every idea.

My next thought was, what will be the design of the table itself. I didn't want something bland or the regular shpaes neither something to funky. i was looking for the perfect balance between the two..

Keeping all this in mind i made some rough sketches, they were not very good to be honest so i started with designing on Fusion 360.

I came up with a few designs as shown, some are made using simple sculpting, I was astonished what one can do using the Fusion 360 Form feature. I decided to move on with 3 of my designs for the next step and design the table top.

After playing around with some of my previous designs, i finalized by designing their table tops. i came to the conclusion that i will choose two of design that i did with the sculpting feature. and the third design is designed using normal extrude and cu features.

For my first design with metallic blue aluminum table body, i tried a hexagonal top and a circular one and decided that i like the circular one more.

For my third design I was confused weather I should go for a granite top or a glass one, this is totally subjectable. in my opinion both look good.

Here are the final Renders of 3 coffee table designs, I have decided to move on with manufacturing of the First Design as it looks just gorgeous and its super affordable, The estimated cost for manufacturing will be about $80-110
