Drawing is my indoor hobby that I love
You can put some of your feelings into the painting
You can also use it as a source of income or home decoration
Art is something that is born with the artist, but with development and interest it becomes a great thing
Not all people have this art, but they can learn some of it
and i am here to provide you with some of my experiences about drawing

Supplies

Canvas board (one that would fit your reference photo)
Acrylic paints
Paint brushes
Ruler
Pencil & eraser
Reference photo
Pinterest app to choose the photo
Palette

Choosing the Photo

First we should choose the photo that we will work on it
When looking for a reference photo, it’s important to keep in mind contrast. If you look at my photo, there are both very dark colors and very light colors. In my opinion, contrast is what drives the aesthetics of a painting because it smoothly and fluidly leads your eyes around the entirety of the painting.
When you are sure for a hundred% about these photo you can start on it
going to the next step

Doing Out Lines

We will start with the mid line which separates the sky and the sea
Then doing an out line for the ship
"We will not draw the boat accurately, but just lines. Let us leave a white space and know the location of the boat"

Mixing Colors

We'll choose the right colors and combine the shades we want and the color grades
I only used these five colors here

I begin by looking at a certain color in my reference photo and thinking about the elements it has then start mixing colors depending on it

Acrylic paint starts to harden within some time, so make sure to cover up your paint palette when you’re not using it

We will start with the blue color at the top because when we go higher the more dark appear
So we will start with the darker colors and then lighten
Also when we get closer to the sun the sky starts to turn red
We'll almost likewise in water have the same reflections
But in the reflection of the water the colors will be more intense
Especially near the sun, the color will be redder
At the left the color will be nearest to purple

There are some touches of yellow, orange, white and the rest of the color spectrum

The Ship

We will start doing some details backing to the original photo
And then some shadows underneath the boat
Shades for boat and sail
And then some touches on the sail with colors closer to the colors of the sky

and that's it ❤️

I know it's not the same but the artist should put some touches refers to him

I hope I have been of benefit to you
good bye 😚
