I saw a Flask for sale that was disguised as a Sunscreen Bottle. When I saw it, I thought, "I could make that!"

Supplies:

  • Empty Sunscreen Bottle (I am using a squeeze top bottle, but you can use anything you have, this is just what happened to be empty for me. Some bottles won't require any additional work besides a good cleaning if they are easy to drink out of already.)
  • Exacto Knife
  • Sink and Soap
  • Alcohol or beverage of choice

The first thing you need to do is find an empty sunscreen bottle. Once you have one decide if it needs any alteration. This one had a very tiny opening, so I decided to open it up a little more. Whatever you do, make sure you don't open it up too much/cut off the top. You want to be able to close it still and if you cut off the part with the threads, it won't close right.

Once you have an opening you can drink out of clean thoroughly. And I mean thoroughly. You don't want to be drinking any left over sunscreen. If you are not quite sure if it is clean, try these tips for cleaning it out.

Fill it up with your beverage of choice (I prefer pop or mango juice, but use whatever you want) and you are done!
