Stained Glass Spots

I got this idea from a book, which you can purchase in the link below. It is fun, easy, and soon you'll have made so many, you won't know what to do with them!

Gather Your Supplies

For this project you will need-
-an old towel
-wax paper
-crayons
-scissors
-pencil sharpener
-circular objects

Prepare Your Wax Paper

Lay out towel. Cut a piece of wax paper that is about 2 feet long. Fold in half.

Prepare Crayons

Choose 2 crayons that mix well. e.g. red and orange, green and blue...... Peel paper off of crayons

Sharpen Crayons

Use pencil sharpener to sharpen crayons. Allow the shavings to fall on one half of the wax paper.

Prepare to Iron

After you have distributed the shavings evenly, fold the other half of the wax paper on to the shavings.

Iron

Using your iron, quickly place it on top of the wax paper and rub. Don't hold the iron on too long, or else the wax paper will melt!!! :/

Cut

Trace lightly around one of your circular objects, then cut it out.

Decorate!

After you have finished cutting, you can tape it to your window! They look really neat when you have a bunch of them!
