I made a Sun Dial out of paper and used a Cricut machine to print out the circle and triangle used.

Cutting Out the Parts

For the first step I used a Cricut machine to print out a 11.5 inch diameter circle. Then printed out a triangle with a 33 degree angle of elevation because of the latitude for my house. I cut this triangle in half

After these pieces were made I taped the circle to the middle of the circle. Then I took the circle outside and found the spot that I thought would get the most sunlight. In order to properly calibrate the sun Dial you have to make sure that the triangle is facing true north. Every hour I went out and marked where the shadow of the hypotenuse was to mark the time.

Overview

Overall, it was difficult to find a spot that would get enough light to complete the full sun Dial.
