Successful Motorized Foam Plane
I'm so passionate about making things. Especially things that fly. Today, I've tried to make a small plane from foam plate and a plastic tie rap stick.
Actually, I started it as a small foam plane that could be easily assembled from simple stuff.
After I test it for flight I thought : Why don't we make it electrically powered?
And so I attached a motor and a battery to it.
It didn't take longer than fifteen minutes to design and assemble.
I hope you like it.
Thank you for reading my instructable.

Components and Tools
Cut and Glue
Cut the foam plate to get a slice. This makes the wings of the plane.
Cut a small pieces of foam to make stabilizers and rudder.
Use the glue gun to glue the rudder to the stabilizer and to attach them to the tie rap.
Attach the wings to the tie rap.
Now you have the plane structure ready to go.

Motorize and Test
I used a small 7mm DC motor with a propeller powered with a 3.7V Li-Poly Battery

I connected the two terminals of the motor in a way that makes air flow backwards of the motor.
This way, the motor Pulls the plane.
Make sure to determine the direction for thrust of your motor.
I used tape to fix the motor at the tip of the stick and the battery on the wing.
It worked fine. Wait for the flight video.
That's all. Thank you for reading.
