Styrofoam Solar Powered Boat

What we have created as a group is a Solar Powered Boat.

Supplies

  1. Styrofoam
  2. Tape
  3. Aluminium Foil
  4. Solar Panels
  5. Motors
  6. Propellers

The Base

Step One:

Get a nice block of Styrofoam to use as a base of the boat.

The Solar Panels

Step Two:

Get two small Solar Panels to put on top of the boat to use as energy.

Step Three:

Get two motors and wires to connect to the solar panels to the motors, This is where the propellers are going to go.

Step Four:

Get two medium sized propellers to stick on to the motors. Hot glue or Gorilla Glue works. The image shown are the propellers that were used.

Putting It All Together

Step Five:

Place everything together. Both solar panels go on top. Wires to the Solar panels leading to the motors on the back with the motors. Propellers are glued on the motors. And you are done.
