Stylish Headbands
My granddaughter loves headbands. So we decided to make a few and it was a great activity for us to do together.
What You Need.
We started with some plain headbands, some ribbon, buttons and some rhinestones I bought at the local craft store. You can use scraps you have of material also. And of course your hot glue gun.
How to Start
Decide which headband and ribbon you want to start with. Hot glue the end of the ribbon to the headband. Now wrap the ribbon around the headband. I add glue about every three turns. This will keep it from sliding. Now when you get to the end glue and cut the ribbon.
Adding the Bow
Now I tie a bow around the headband and glue the top. If you are doing this with a child let them pick the rhinestones or buttons to add to the top. My granddaughter picks the rhinestones and I glue them on. You can also make one by just adding a bow to the top. There are so many options and now she has a special headband. I also made some covering them with cloth to match outfits that I made earlier.
