Introduction
We enjoy stuffed peppers, but they require time. This receipt cuts the prep and cooking time by half. You receive the same great taste, aroma and satisfaction as you would with stuffed peppers. Stuffed Pepper Rings can be prepped and served when you are running late from work, have unexpected guest or at a bring a dish party.

Stuffed Pepper Rings can also be cooked, frozen and reheated when you are really pressed for a meal. Remove from freezer, place Stuffed Pepper Rings on Microwave safe dish, heat on high 3 – 4 min then serve.

Ingredients:
Peppers,
Ground Meat (Turkey, Beef, Chicken, Pork),
Seasoning: (Any of your favorite)
Pink Salt, Garlic, Onion Powder, Parsley, Rosemary, Sage and
Water – 1/2 cup (not shown)

I had 1lb of ground Turkey leftover from making sausage patties. I used 1/2 tea spoon of the above seasonings.

Supplies:
Stove,
Fry Pan,
Spatula,
Vegetable Knife,
Fork and Spoon.

Here is where you make your Stuffed Pepper Rings, mix the seasoning, stuff the rings and start cooking.

1) Mix your seasoning and meat.
2) Remove bottoms, membrane and seeds from Peppers. Slice Peppers 1/2 inch thick.
3) Add 1/2 cup of Water to Fry Pan, turn up the heat to Medium.
4) When the water starts to steam place the Pepper slices in the pan.
5) Use a fork and spoon to Stuff the Peppers with your seasoned meat.

After a couple of mins the meat will start to brown. The peppers should be 1/2 done cooking. A couple of mins (3 – 5 min) on each side then serve.

Depending on the type and water content of the meat there will be some shrinkage.

1) Flip when meat changes color,
2) Serve hot.

Serve plain, top with cheese, tomato sauce, hot sauce, gravy, what ever... Add a side rice or place on toast. You are the cook, let your meal shine.

Not all stove tops temperatures are the same, your cook time will vary.

This is a super simple serve. The receipt is open for your preferences, e.g. Red, Green, Yellow, Orange even Ombre peppers for fun.
