This particular cocktail marks a damaging day...

We bought two litres of rum for no reason then decided to go get loads of fruit, mainly strawberries and proceeded to get massively drunk...

We mixed far more rum than reasonable in to it, around two shots a glass...

These aren't iced daiquiris, we forwent ice instead making them extra syrupy - as a note, daiquiris don't need to be iced to be daiquiris, that's iced daiquiris...

In the blender we roughed it but:

 - fill jug with cut strawberries
 - Throw rum at it, beginning around four and ending in just pouring in till we got worried
 - Top up with sugar syrup (recipe below)
 - Blend
 - Sieve in to glass (Wouldn't be as necessary with better strawberries)

There were more bits and pieces of niceness in there...

The sugar syrup is fairly simple, fill a bottle about two thirds with boiling water, pour caster sugar in until it wont dissolve easily, add your preferred essence, vanilla in our case. Chuck in the freezer to cool quick, or let cool until room temp.

To frost the glasses, rinse in water and stick them in the freezer upright.

I must say this was wildly entertaining, though massively damaging to my liver and stomach (fruit and I don't get on particularly well)
